Sometimes it's a subtle change that makes a huge difference. I like it because (the obvious) It's more stable. but also it's harder to accidentally drag or splash a dark color into your white or yellow, etc..

These ink caps are totally worth the little bit extra cost. They are indeed more stable and seem to hold a little bit more ink than the others.
