Dean shows how to take a simple graphic and add your own dynamic flare to the design. He then demonstrates the different ways to make a stencil that can be applied to the skin. With an in-depth overview of all the equipment needed for the tattoo procedure, he explains how to properly set up a sanitary tattoo station. Dean then shows the proper way to set up black pigment for different consistencies of grey wash. During the outlining process, he covers a variety of line work from black line and grey line to blood lining. He then continues with his techniques for shading using different consistencies of grey wash to give the work a smooth airbrushed look.
